
7-Step Model For Change
Self-Exploration
I will ask you a series of questions and give you worksheets to help you discover what brings you joy, what’s important to you, and we’ll gather all the components of your ideal life or career on a list. The purpose is to guide you to learn more about yourself, who you are, and what you want in all areas of your life.
In this step, I’ll help you uncover the "puzzle pieces" that will go into creating your ideal life, career or life direction. We call these Components. As we gather the Components, they begin to integrate and form pictures of what you might enjoy. We call these Possibilities.
Strategic Planning
Next, we develop a plan of action for achieving your immediate, short-term and long-term goals. The purpose of a Strategic Plan is to help you develop a clear, effective, and focused strategy that will help you achieve your chosen option(s) — or put new choices, decisions, and goals into action.
Overcoming Blocks + Obstacles to Success
Often when people make changes, fears, insecurities, lack of confidence and other issues can surface. I have a variety of techniques and processes to help you overcome your blocks. We set a goal to work through blocks to assist you to resolve anything standing in the way of moving forward in your life.
You may discover some blocks that can be resolved through action + determining the steps you need to take, + acquiring new skills, information, or formulating a plan. You may also encounter blocks that are resolved through Inner Process beliefs, fears, internal conflicts, or resistance to change. A series of Inner Process techniques and compassion towards self will help you resolve the blocks, so that you can easily move ahead with your goals.
Managing + Sustaining Change
Not only is it important to help you clarify your goals and take steps toward them, it is also important to make sure those goals happen. If we continue coaching together, I will work with you until you have achieved your goals and brought your dreams into reality. The purpose of Managing and Sustaining Change is to guide you to act on your Strategic Plan —to navigate the challenges that come with making a transition, and achieve your desired results.
Options + Choices
Once we’ve gathered all the components, we’ll explore new interests, new options and new directions you could take in your life or career. The purpose of Options and Choices is to coach you to turn your possibilities into a viable life or career options. This step also includes techniques to help you determine your priorities, and make the best choices for yourself.
Mastering Skills
Here, I support you in mastering the skills necessary to achieve your goals. There may be things you need to study, learn or practice to gain mastery in that area. The goal of Mastering Skills is to acquire any skills or knowledge you need to transition into your new life.
Research or “Testing Out”
Here, you test out your new choices to determine what works, and what is the best possible direction for you. The goal of Research or “Testing Out” is to have you imagine, experience or discover which of your options will work best for you.
